What the chart includes

Ten planets, twelve Placidus houses and the four chart angles. Select any point or line on the wheel to inspect its measured position.

Zodiac: Tropical zodiac
Houses: Placidus houses
Aspects: ☌ · ⚹ · □ · △ · ☍

The birth place sets the houses and angles. Planetary longitudes are geocentric; moving the map pin does not turn them into topocentric positions.

Ephemeris model

NASA data used to calculate planetary positions.

Aspect tolerance · degrees

How far from the exact angle an aspect may be. Lower values show fewer aspects.

Research comparison

Optional: calculate with both DE441 and DE442 to check their differences.

Calculation details

Natal positions use apparent geocentric tropical longitude, with the true ecliptic and equinox of the birth date. Houses use Placidus at the entered birth place.

Placidus can be undefined at high latitudes. The calculation reports this explicitly; it does not silently choose another house system.

The same explicit orb is applied to each of the five major aspects. Display rounding never changes aspect or house calculations.

One moment, a complete chart

Start with the recorded birth date, time and place. The chart keeps exact coordinates and time sources alongside every result.

The prefilled birth details are a fictional example. Replace them with the record you want to calculate.
